I have been a Massage Therapist for over 18 years since I attended The Flint School of Therapeutic Massage in 2006. I am a passionate and caring mother, Wife, and member of the LGBTQ+ community. My journey has always been caring for others. I have experienced the joy, and the difficulties of giving birth to three amazing boys. I have also experienced the grief of losing a pregnancy. I have a positive outlook on life and through the difficult year of 2020 I was able to focus on my family and my career and follow my dream of becoming a Doula in order to serve and care for others through the life altering experience of giving birth. Hello, my name is Kim Kassel and I’m happy to seevice you. I graduated from Kalamazoo Center for the Healing Arts in July of 2024, and currently teach Anatomy and Physiology there once a week. I also work on-call at Hope Network with individuals that have had a traumatic Brain Injury. The main reason I decided to be a Massage Therapist is so that I can be more present with my girls. However, I learned so much more about massage than I ever thought I would. When I’m not working, I’m a mom to 3 beautiful girls; Skyla, Faye and Lexie. I’m also an aspiring Horse enthusiast. My future goals as a massage therapist are to be well versed in all aspects of massage techniques meeting more needs of my clients. Eventually, I plan on having a space within my home and being more independent. My specialties are: Relaxation, prenatal, cupping and craniosacral techniques.
